(Katie's point of view)
Before I left for Ann Arbor Ike and I went out a few times. We had a great
time. I'm glad he's finally my boyfriend. I like the University of Michigan. After
we went through orientation Rachel convinced me to stay and take a summer class
here with her. She is pre-med and wants to get a head start with classes. It
doesn't hurt for me to do the same.
Today Hanson has their concert in Detroit. Ike sent me a ticket and backstage
passes. He called me two nights ago. He told me that Tay had fallen in love with the
daughter of their tour manager. Then he asked me if it was ok for them to come to
dinner with us after the concert tonight. I'm a little disappointed that we won't be
alone but I want Tay to be happy so I said yes. Right now I am back stage with
them while they 'meet -n- greet' their fans. Ike seems to be having a good time. I
look over at Zac. I can tell he is falling for the fan that he is talking to.
(Zac's point of view)
I'm backstage doing the 'meet -n- greet' thing with my brothers when this
girl walks in the door. She has long blonde hair and is about my height.
She is wearing jeans, a t-shirt with my favorite picture of us on it, and yellow docs.
I know right there and then that I have to meet her. But I'm too chicken.
She walks over to me and says "Hi, I'm Penny Monroe".
"Hi Penny!" I say and shake her outstretched hand wildly . She asks me a few
questions which I answer but I'm not really paying attention. Boy I want to get to
know her better. Ike sees me talking to her and smiles at me. I think he knows I like
her. He walks over to me. I turn to face him and he whispers "Zac, how about
asking her to come to dinner with Tay, Katie, Crystal and me after the show."
"Really?" Ike shakes his head yes. "Thanks Ike!"
I turn around toward Penny, take a deep breath and say "Penny would you like to
go to dinner with me, my brothers and their girlfriends after the show?"
"Sure!" she says.
"How about meeting me here about 30 minutes after the show is over?" I ask.
"OK I'll see you then." She leaves because the show is about to start. I can't wait
until after the show.
(Penny's point of view)
Oh my god! Did Zac Hanson just ask me to go to dinner with him and did I just
say yes? I guess I did. This is my dream come true. Zac is my favorite! That's
because we are a lot alike. We like to do the same things, have the same
personality, and our birthdays are on the same day even though he is a year older
than me. I have been so psyched about this day ever since I found out that they
were doing this show. I never thought that I would get to go but I did. When I got
here Ashley Greyson asked me if I was a member of MOE. I showed him my card.
He asked me if I would like to go backstage. I said yes. I thought I was going to
faint. Here I was going to be able to see Zac up close and personal. Then I get to
talk to him and he asks me out to dinner. Unbelievable! I can't wait until after the
show!
