(Crystal's point of view)
Right before we left for the tour the guy's friends and family threw them a going
away party. I had fun but Ike was bummed because his girlfriend Katie was in Ann
Arbor. Then the tour started. It has been a great success. We have been to Paris,
Germany, London, and Toronto. I'm having a great time and get to see lots of neat
places. I'm glad I came along. I especially like doing things with Tay.
Now we are in Boston. Yea! I got to see my Dad and my friends last
night. That was great! Today I am showing Ike, Tay, and Zac around. Mrs.
Hanson and my Mom insist that I show them some of the historic sites of Boston as
part of our home schooling. That is fine by me since I love Boston's history and it's
buildings. We go to the Charles River, Paul Revere's house, and Copley Square
among other places. Copley Square is the last place we go to. I point out neat
places like their Main Library which has a new addition that is added on to the
original building. After that we decide to sit down on the park benches and rest for
afew minutes. Tay and Zac think it's fun to chase the pigeons around. The poor
things get frightened and fly away. We decide to get a drink from the food cart.
Ike asks "What time is it?"
"2:30" I respond
"We better get back for the sound check" says Ike. We all agree and climb into
my Mom's car to go to the venue.
(Tay's point of view)
I really enjoyed Crystal showing us around. I wasn't as bored as I thought I
would be. I like being with her and I still want to ask her out. Last night Ike
suggested that I invite her to go to dinner with him and Katie in after the show in
Detroit. That was nice of him considering it will be one of the few times that they
will get to see each other. We arrive at the venue and go inside. Before we go do
the sound check, I screw up the courage to ask Crystal out.
"Crystal can I ask you something?" I ask.
"Sure Tay. What is it?" She says.
"Ike has invited us to go to dinner with him and Katie after the concert in Detroit.
Would you like to go?" I ask.
"Sure, I'd love to!" She says.
I do a mental "yes!" and say "Great! Well, I'll see you later"
"OK" she says.
I run off to find my brothers. I can't wait until we get to Detroit!
