Taylor's point of view
Our date went ok. We could hardly concentrate on the movie. We were still bummed about our parents not
wanting us to get too serious.
The next morning Crystal asks me "What are we going to do Taylor?".
"I don't know but we have a few weeks to think of something. Besides we still have the phone and e-mail and
we can visit each other often." I said.
"Yeah, I guess so." she says.
"Why don't we go roller bladeing? It will get our minds of of things and it will be great exercise." I say.
"Ok."
We put on our blades and go downstairs. The lobby is deserted so we don't get any angry looks from people
because we have our blades on inside. We go outside. It is a beautiful day. There is a nice park across the
street from our hotel. It is early enough that there are no fans outside. But there are a few people bladeing.
We talk about different things. After high school she wants to major in pre-law in college and go to Harvard
Law school. I tell her about all the things that I hope Ike, Zac and I can do as a group. After about a half an
hour we have to go back. We both are hungry plus we are leaving in an hour and a half for a press
conference.
When we go back inside I see Ike and Zac in the restaurant eating breakfast. I join them. Crystal goes
upstairs to shower and then she will have breakfast with her Mom. After Zac is done he goes back upstairs.
Ike stays with me while I'm finishing my breakfast.
"Thanks for the warning yesterday. Dad tried to talk to me about my relationship with Crystal last night.
But I was late and didn't want to talk about it. " I tell him.
"Oh boy. What are you going to do?" Ike says.
"I don't know but we'll figure something out." I say.
"Good luck. But remember Mom and Dad know what they are talking about." Ike says.
"I guess so." I say and we head back upstairs to get ready to leave for the press conference.
