Taylor's point of view
I'm getting ready to go over to Crystal's room to watch a movie. I still have Ike's warning running through
my head when my Dad comes in.
"Son, can I talk to you about Crystal?" He says. Oh great, Ike was right.
"Sure" I say
"Your Mom and I are worried that the two of you are getting too serious. You're too young to have a
serious girlfriend. Plus we will be going back to Tulsa after the tour." Dad says.
"But Dad, I love her! Besides Ike has a steady girlfriend in Michigan." I say.
"That's different. He is older. Plus they aren't serious." he says.
I look at my watch. "I'm going to be late"
"Ok. We'll talk later." Dad says. I sigh and then leave.
Crystal's point of view.
It's been one week since Justin asked my Mom out. She and I are talking in our room while she is getting
ready to go on a date with him.
"Mom, again I'm sorry about running out like that. I just wish you and Dad would get back together.
But I know that won't happen so I'm glad you and Justin are going out." I say to her.
She says "It's ok. I understand. I wanted to get back with your dad at first too but now I just want to move
on. You know that Dad and I still love you don't you?" I shake my head. "Do you and Taylor have plans for
tonight?"
"Yep. We'll probably order room service and watch a movie on TV." I say.
"I hope your not getting too serious with him. You're to young to have a serious relationship plus we will
be going back to Boston when this is all over." She says.
"But Mom I love Taylor. I want to continue seeing him after the tour!" I say.
"I don't think that will be possible" Mom says. Just then there is a knock on the door. Mom opens it.
It's Justin. She turns to me and says "We'll continue this later." Then she leaves. I go to the bathroom to
freshen up. Taylor will be here soon.
Taylor's point of view
I go over to Crystal's room and knock on the door.
She answers. She looks bummed.
"What's wrong?" I ask her.
"Mom thinks we are getting too serious. She thinks I am too young to have a serious boyfriend and that
going back to Boston after the tour will make a relationship between us difficult." She says.
I sigh. "My Dad said that my parents feel the same way." I say.
"Oh great!" She says.
"Don't worry we have 2 months to figure something out." I say and give her a hug and a kiss. "Let's order
something from room service and choose a movie"
"Ok." she says. We order pizza and start watching the movie. But I know we are both thinking about how
we are going to convince our parents that we should be able to stay together after the tour. Hopefully we
will find a way
